To appreciate the academic excellence and to applaud the talent and genius minds, R.D. Khosla organized its 40th annual day celebration on the theme ‘RAINBOW’ with great passion and exuberance. To make this event fruitful a ton of arrangements were made by the R.D. Family. Hon’ble S. Amansher Singh Kalsi ,MLA, Batala, graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The members of management committee Sh. K.L. Gupta ,
S. Bhupinder Singh, Mr. Varinder Kansra, Mrs. Monika Khosla and Mrs. Sunit Bharti with their presence added grace to the occasion. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of lamp followed by a beautiful Shabad and Saraswati Vandana.
A song glorifies colors grabbed the attention of everyone present there.
Later on, Principal Dr. Bindu Bhalla addressed the audience and gave a good account of the progress of the school. She also by throwing the light on the theme, emphasized the importance of colors in our lives. The ‘Krishan Leela’ performed by little RDians gave a devotional ambience to the event venue. Moreover, the other performances also depicted the importance of colors in our lives. Overwhelmed responses of present individuals increased the enthusiasm of the students. Then the prizes were distributed to the meritorious students by the invited dignitaries.
Chairman Sh. Arvind Khosla and President Sh. Ajay Khosla in their speeches extended their warm welcome to the chief guest and other visitors. They also encouraged all the understudies to work most earnestly in life to get the sure achievement. The event came to an end with the national anthem.
